nine - apologies & guilt

My deepest apologies to those whom I might have offended during our time as people quite different than ourselves. I am told this is what we refer to as a "flood" and I think I must agree that I am not fond of them either having now experienced one fully. If there is any way I can make amends to those who I have wronged, I pray that you will enlighten me. I do hope I have not lost the good opinion of any person here. Though I would not dare to think ill of you if I have.

I understand there were a great deal who were injured as well. I feel obliged to inform you that though I am not trained in any sort of medical profession, I desire to help if I can be of any service. Please do not hesitate to ask.
